Recipe Junk journal Keepsake
…just a bit of weekend crafting and a few random thoughts about a little Recipe Junk Journal Keepsake.
My daughter used most of this beautiful cocoa for cake in a mug! I did however, get an opportunity so bake some chocolate cake 😋 but what I really want to share with you is the recycled product:

I decided to take whatever was randomly “laying around” on my workspace and make a little junk journal for my daughter that she can use as a recipe journal for all her favourite quick makes. Chocolate and coffee seems to be her thing these days and those special little treats needs to be documented for sure😉
The spine of the book allowed for seven signatures which will be enough space to add some personal thoughts and notes to her recipe journaling.
I’m sure this will turn out to be a lovely keepsake journal!
I covered the outside with clear plastic adhesive before stitching all around the edges with my amazing 27 year old sewing machine!
May this post inspire you to recycle your own favourite packaging.
