I love this concept: To photograph with words.
I have been using journals and diaries for such a long time and these have become some of my photographs in words. Most of the time, journaling helps me get better perspective. It has the ability to sweep out the dusty corners of my mind. It helps me straighten out my emotions, ideas, goals, dreams, and my never-ending To-Do’s.
Each day holds it’s own memories. When you journal you capture those memories…it’s like a photograph, just with words… selah. More importantly, you capture God’s faithfulness!
I journal anything and everything! Something is better than nothing at all. It doesn’t matter how plain it is, at the end of the day it’s about the words that makes the impact on the soul.
Its’ wonderful and sometimes challenging to look back at all the memories, feelings and just plain happenings of days already lived!
Where it all started for me?
I started my journaling journey back in the day with just a plain little school notebook, covered with pretty wrapping paper! As time went by I then discovered craft paints and mod podge. This worked pretty awesome too!
I love visiting book shops for specials on journals and sometimes I will buy. Most of the time (these day) I make my own though.
I haven’t settled my mind on one particular method yet. I’m just enjoying all the different ways to journal. The main idea is to put thought to paper and let your emotions flow.
